Degree in Periodontology

The Academic Centre for Dentistry Amsterdam (ACTA) in the Netherlands, invites applicants for postgraduate training leading to a degree in Periodontology starting September 2008. 

The three-year comprehensive program gives an advanced training in clinical periodontology including implantology, as well as an intensive review of those sciences basic to dentistry in general and periodontology in particular. A research project and thesis at the end of the program are part of the requirements for the degree. The program has been accredited by the European Federation of Periodontology. 

Admission requirements

Applicants must have a recognized qualification in dentistry (DDS or equivalent) and a minimum of one year general dental experience. Proficiency in written and oral English is mandatory.
The tuition fee is € 16.000.-- (fifteen thousand five hundred euro) per year. Applications must be received no later than December 1st, 2007.
