European Dental Students’ Association biannual meeting - Amsterdam 2010

Twice a year, delegates from each member state gather in a different European city to discuss current dental and educational affairs, make suggestions for future activities, promote solutions, and take decisions.

One of this year's meetings took place from 22 to 28 August in Amsterdam, at the Academic Centre of Dentistry Amsterdam (ACTA). The theme of the meeting - “Digital Dentistry” - was chosen to mark the introduction of simulators into ACTA's educational programmes.

The European Visiting Programme (EVP) is an EDSA exchange programme which gives students the opportunity of spending a few days or weeks visiting dental faculties in foreign countries, for educational purposes. Students get the chance to broaden their outlook, develop their ability to adapt to different environments, and make new friends. This helps to overcome boundaries and to facilitate mobility.
