ACTA wins award

ACTA-scientist dr. Wu wins award at EAO scientific meeting in Athens with scientific abstract.

The abstract from the research report entitled Layer-by-layer assembled BMP-2-incorporated biomimetic calcium-phosphate granules induce bone formation - presented by Dr. Wu - was selected as one of the The Best 10 Abstracts from more than 500 abstracts in the 20th Annual Scientific Meeting, from the European Association of Osteointegration (EAO) in Athens (Greece, October 15-17th, 2011). The research was performed together with Dr. Y. Zheng, T. Liu, Prof. Dr. D. Wismeijer and Dr. Y Liu from the Department of Oral Implantology.

The EAO is now the largest international scientific forum in the field of Implant Dentistry in Europe. This award was also granted to the ACTA-group in 2010.
