More information on endodontology

Student profile 
The post graduate programme in endodontology is suitable for dentists who have:

1. a dental degree from a dental school accredited by the European Union or from an institute of similar accreditation/ BIG registration;
2. at least three years of experience after graduation from dental school in general dental practice prior to commencing the programme;

The following documents should be submitted

  • a letter of application, accompanied by two letters of recommendation from university staff members or colleagues working in the field of dentistry;
  • a short curriculum vitae and a copy of the dental degree certificate and any other relevant certificates or diploma’s.

Tuition
The costs of this programme for the academic year 2012-2013  will be approximately EUR 7.000 per year for Dutch people, EUR 8500 for other Europeans and EUR 13.500 for non-Europeans.

Visa
ACTA cannot assist students in getting priority status at government offices, in case a visa for the Netherlands is needed.

Diploma
After passing the final exams, the candidate will be awarded a Clinical Specialty Certificate in Endodontology.

Programme duration 
The programme requires three years full-time education, consisting of three days attendance and two days self-study. The programme is based on developing clinical skills, mastering a deep understanding of endodontic theory and science and performing original research.
