More information on implantology

In this part time course clinical aspects of Oral Implantology involve 70% of the training time. Diagnostics, treatment indication and treatment planning as well as the surigcal and restorative aspects receive a lot of attention. The treatment of complications (peri-implantitis as well as prosthetic complications) is part of the training.

Backgrounds as well as scientific aspects of Oral Implantology and the principles of evidence based dentistry will be systematically adressed in the theoretical part of the training. The trainees will also be expected to perform in research project. The thus trained Tandarts-Implantoloog will have the knowledge and ability to diagnose and treat a wide variety of patients with implant and prosthodontic related problems to a high standard.

The tuition costs involved with this course are  €18.500.- per year.
