More information on the postgraduate programme periodontology and implant dentistry
Student profile
The programme is aimed at postgraduate students who have:
- a dental degree from a dental school accredited by the European Union or from a similar institute of accreditation.
- and who have had at least one year of experience in general dental practice prior to commencing the programme.
- a registration (B.I.G.) to practice dentistry in the Netherlands
Programme duration
The programme is full time and can be completed in three years, including the mandatory period in an accredited practice.
Diploma
After passing the final exams and successfully defending the thesis, the candidate will be awarded a ‘Diploma in Clinical Periodontology and Implant Dentistry’ by the Department of Periodontology at ACTA, a ‘Certificate in Periodontology and Implant Dentistry’ by the University of Amsterdam and an ‘EFP Certificate in Periodontology’.
Tuition
The tuition fee of the programme starting in September 2012 is €17.500 per year.
