The course Scientific Integrity is divided into two parts: an e-learning part and contact classes part.
The e-learning part can be performed at any computer with internet access. It will take about 16-20 hours to complete this part.
The contact teaching part will be planned in a class of ACTA PhD students, with a maximum of 20 participants. For each class, there will be two sessions of about 4 hours, with an interval of two weeks. The e-learning part is in English; the contact classes will be given either in English or in Dutch.
We plan to organize the contact classes in 2017 at least twice on the following days:
|Course in English
|Thursday 16-11-2017||13.15 – 17.00
||13.15 – 17.00
||13.15 – 17.00|
|Wednesday 28-03-2018||13.15 – 17.00|
The course is not intended for first year PhD students. It is preferably followed in the end of the second year or in the third year. As this course is given for the second time now, there will be participants in their final year of course. If you want to participate in the course you will have to complete the e-learning part before starting the contact classes.
Application deadline and subscription
Please let the organization know before December 22th if you want to participate in the English course or in the Dutch course, or if you prefer to follow this this course later, i.e. autumn 2017 or 2018. Early January the participants will receive more information about the course, including the internet access code for the e-learning part.
N.B. There is a maximum of 20 participants in each course. If there are more PhD students willing to participate, preference will be given to those finishing their thesis in 2017.
