Graduation Profile in Oral Implantology

The aim of this profile is to train postgraduate students in oral implantology at  a specialist level. The principles of Top Down Planning or also known as Backward Treatment Planning will therefore govern this course. The postgraduate students who complete this course will be able to function as top treatment providers and as such have the knowledge and ability to treat the widest variety of patients in this field. General and specialized dentists can trust fully on the competence of the Oral Implantology and Implant Prosthodontics specialist dentist when referring patients. The treatment of complications (peri-implantitis as well as prosthetic complications) is part of the training.
Backgrounds as well as scientific aspects of Oral Implantology and the principles of evidence based dentistry will be systematically addressed in the theoretical part of the training.
